Special Christmas Itinerary at Kuyana Lodge
Morning – Renewal Ritual at the Waterfalls
The magic of Christmas in the jungle begins with a visit to the nearby waterfalls. Immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters, surrounded by pure nature, to revitalize your body and spirit in this unique setting. This ritual allows us to renew our energies and leave behind the old year, making space for new experiences.
Midday – Light Christmas Lunch
We’ll return to the lodge to enjoy a light and delicious lunch, preparing ourselves for the festive activities in the afternoon.
Afternoon – Creative Activity: Gingerbread House Building
Get into the Christmas spirit with your family as you create and decorate your very own gingerbread house. Each group will receive the necessary materials for this fun activity, filled with laughter and unforgettable moments. It’s a perfect opportunity to share quality time and unleash your creativity!
Sunset – Gratitude and Spiritual Cleansing Ceremony at the River
As the sun sets over the jungle, we will head to the river for an intimate ceremony guided by a local shaman. He will join us in a spiritual cleansing ritual, using herbs and ancient techniques to help us release past energies and welcome the new cycle with clarity and gratitude. In this special ritual, we’ll offer flowers and candles to the river as symbols of renewal and gratitude. This moment deeply connects us to the nature and spirituality of the Amazon, creating an unforgettable experience of peace and harmony.
Evening – Christmas Dinner
The evening culminates in an exquisite Christmas dinner, where traditional dishes with an Amazonian twist will be served. The festive atmosphere will be adorned with Christmas decorations and soft music, filling every corner of the lodge with warmth and comfort. It’s the ideal moment to share with family and enjoy the Christmas magic, surrounded by nature.
End of the Night – Stories Around the Bonfire
To close the evening, we will gather around a bonfire under the starlit sky. Our local guides will share Amazonian stories and legends, passing down the ancestral wisdom of the region. This night will be a special encounter with Amazonian culture, leaving lasting memories and a deep sense of connection to this magical land.
An unforgettable Christmas in the heart of the Amazon!
New Year’s Eve Itinerary at Kuyana Lodge
Last Day of the Year in the Amazon Jungle
Welcome to a day filled with traditions and renewal at Kuyana Lodge! On this special day, we want to bid farewell to the year surrounded by nature and prepare our energy to welcome the new year with fresh vibes and positive intentions.
Morning – Cleansing Ritual at the Waterfalls
We’ll begin our activities with a visit to nearby waterfalls, where we’ll perform a cleansing ritual. Immersing ourselves in the crystal-clear and refreshing jungle waters will help us leave the old year behind and make space for new experiences. This purifying bath will connect us with nature and fill us with renewed energy.
Midday – Special New Year’s Eve Lunch
Back at the lodge, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch with local specialties, designed to recharge us and prepare us for the rest of the day.
Afternoon – New Year’s Eve Effigy Creation
To celebrate local traditions, we’ll spend the afternoon in a creative activity: making our own effigies! Using local materials like branches, leaves, and anything else that sparks our imagination, each person will create a unique effigy. This activity will last approximately 2 hours—plenty of time to have fun and explore our creative side.
Evening – Preparation and Awards Ceremony
After a brief rest, you’ll have time to get ready and dress for the occasion; we recommend wearing white as a symbol of peace and renewal. We’ll gather to award the most original effigies and share laughter and good wishes.
Farewell Ritual – End-of-Year Letters
As midnight approaches, we’ll head to the estuary, where we’ll light a bonfire and perform a closing ritual. A local shaman, accompanied by traditional musicians, will lead a spiritual cleansing ceremony to help us release past energies and welcome the new year with open hearts. Each person will have the chance to read their letter of farewell to the old year and then burn it in the fire, symbolizing the release of all we wish to leave behind.
New Year’s Eve Dinner and Wish Lantern Release
Finally, we’ll enjoy a special New Year’s Eve dinner—a feast to celebrate the end of one cycle and the start of new opportunities. At midnight, we’ll mark the beginning of the new year by launching wish lanterns into the Amazon sky, sending our dreams and goals into the horizon.
It will be an unforgettable day filled with symbolism, marking the new year with the best energy!
