DAY 1 – The Ultimate Rafting Adventure Begins

Pick-up in Quito: 5:00 AM | Rafting Start: 9:00 AM | Meals: Lunch & Dinner Included

If you’re an adventure enthusiast looking to explore one of the world’s top whitewater destinations, your journey begins here.

Depart from Quito at 5:00 AM, heading deep into the Amazon basin toward Mondayacu. At 9:00 AM, the excitement begins with a safety induction and rafting briefing led by our certified guides.

Get ready to conquer the Jondachi–Hollín River, a breathtaking waterway famous for its Class IV rapids, emerald canyons, and stunning jungle scenery. This stretch is ideal for experienced rafters seeking a world-class adrenaline rush surrounded by waterfalls, wildlife, and panoramic views.

After about 3 hours of thrilling descent, you’ll arrive at Kuyana Amazon Lodge, where a refreshing native welcome drink awaits you. Enjoy a delicious Amazonian lunch, then unwind with a 40-minute massage in our treetop spa, accompanied by the tranquil sounds of the rainforest.

As evening falls, indulge in a three-course gourmet dinner prepared with fresh local ingredients.

End your day with a Guided Night Walk, exploring the rainforest’s nocturnal wonders — frogs, insects, and other creatures that come alive under the moonlight. (Difficulty: 2/5 – approx. 1 hour).

DAY 2 – Jungle Exploration & Cultural Immersion

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included

Awaken to the songs of tropical birds and enjoy a nutritious Amazonian breakfast.

Join a guided hike to the Ushpayacu Waterfalls, one of Kuyana’s natural jewels. Walk through lush rainforest, admire towering trees, and finish the route at a natural pool beneath the falls, where you can take a refreshing swim and reconnect with nature’s pure energy. (Difficulty: 3/5 – approx. 3 hours).

After lunch, dive into Amazon culture with our traditional cooking class. Learn to prepare local favorites such as maito and chontacuro, and enjoy a hands-on chocolate-making session using native cacao.

As evening approaches, relax in our open-air lounge with panoramic jungle views and a dinner under the stars — a true taste of Ecuadorian hospitality.

DAY 3 – Jungle Trails & Farewell

Breakfast included

On your final morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast and take part in our reforestation project along the Hollín River, helping restore the biodiversity of this unique ecosystem.

Conclude your adventure with a guided walk through Kuyana Island and the Guitarracocha Trail, where ancestral legends say the sound of guitars can be heard at night. Explore tropical flora, visit the scenic Hollín River viewpoint, and enjoy a refreshing dip on its pristine shores. (Difficulty: 2.5/5 – approx. 1.5 hours).
