Where We Are

Kuyana Amazon Lodge is located in Napo Province, in the Ecuadorian Amazon, on the banks of the Hollín River. The lodge is approximately 3.5 hours from Quito by road and 15 minutes from the town of Archidona. Access is through the community of Santo Domingo del Hollín, with the final 10 minutes of the journey along a cobblestone road.

Kuyana protects 30 hectares of Amazon rainforest, as well as a 1.2-hectare island located where the Ushpayacu stream meets the Hollín River.

The fastest and most recommended route from Quito is: Quito – Papallacta – Cosanga – Baeza – Archidona. Estimated travel time: 3 hours and 30 minutes. Please note that the last 10 minutes before reaching the lodge involves a cobblestone road.

We also offer a private transfer service (extra fee), where a driver can pick you up directly from the airport or any address in Quito or the surrounding areas. This service must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance. Please contact us for pricing information. The estimated travel time is 3.5 hours.
